On Sunday, May 2, Engaged Wedding Library will be hosting The Ultimate Wedding Planning Party for Brides and Grooms: The Engagement Party! The event is from 11 am to 3 pm and you’ll want to plan to be there for the whole time since there will be chances to win over $10,000 in prizes throughout the day, and plenty to keep you busy with hands-on activities, tastings, and 60 wedding vendors – many offering a “try before you buy” experience, all on the beautiful pond front setting. If you need a break, you can relax by the pond and listen to the live music, or get a box lunch from Toast Restaurant and sit on their patio while you scope out your spot for the cake dive (where are those prize gems hidden in the 3 wedding cakes and 300 cupcakes??).

Bring your fiancé! You’ll need him there if you want a chance to be selected to compete to win a wedding gown from Dreamnette Bridal in the couples wedding cake decorating competition – be registered by 11:15 am if you want to participate! And you’ll want to take advantage of your chance to get free portraits with him while you’re there, plus get crazy together in the photobooth. And at noon you’ll have a chance to learn the basic Waltz step together to get a head start on practicing for your First Dance. There’s lots more for the groom-to-be to enjoy too, with lots of tastings, Casillas Cigars, Men’s Specialty vendors, and some rockin’ music from The Rupert Duncan Band.

So come have some fun, and who knows? You may walk away with $2000 in diamond jewelry!
